Karen Killilea is owner and operator of Scioto Blooms Greenhouse, established in 2004.  A 1986 Graduate of Horticulture from The Ohio State University, with a minor in business. Her career has taken her throughout the United States, including internships in Dallas, Texas and Waimanaolo, Hawaii. She served as a marketing coordinator at AmeriFlora'92, completing the event as the most senior employee with 8 years experience. She spent 10 years on staff at deMonye's Greenhouse, Columbus. With her husband Jerome Killilea Jr., they expanded their  operations by growing independently in Ashville, Ohio, to supplement sales at deMonyes rapidly growing retail environment. Scioto Blooms currently retails and wholesales to many local companies.
